Founding Attorney Khawaja M. Saad
KLA Law was established by Khawaja M. Saad, a licensed trial lawyer whose global perspective and rigorous academic training form the backbone of our firm’s success.
Originally from Pakistan, Khawaja brings a deep-seated empathy for clients from all walks of life. His ability to navigate different cultural nuances means that every client, regardless of their background, feels seen, heard, and vigorously defended.
Khawaja’s credentials reflect a lifelong pursuit of legal mastery and a commitment to the Indiana legal community:
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.): Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (2022).
- Master of Laws (LL.M.): Corporate and Commercial Law, Indiana University (2018).
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.): University of London (2016).
- Recognized excellence: Recipient of the Norman Lefstein Award of Excellence for his distinguished pro bono service.
- Leadership and scholarship: Served as Vice President of the Asian Law Students Association and Associate Editor for the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review.
Before founding KLA Law, Khawaja honed his skills in high-stakes environments, serving as a law clerk for the Indiana Attorney General’s Office in the Complex Litigation Department and for former Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steven H. David.
His experience spans from the Marion County Public Defender Agency to international roles as a corporate associate in Prague and legal counsel for a blockchain startup in Estonia.
